legends-of-tomorrow

Back in January, we first learned that Rip Hunter and his crew would be heading to the old west to meet Jonah Hex in ‘Legends of Tomorrow’. The announcement came with the news that ‘Ray Donovan’ and ‘That Thing You Do!’ star Johnathon Schaech would be portraying the latest live-action incarnation of DC Comics’ gun-slinging bounty hunter bearing the mark of the devil. And now ahead of his debut in the Arrowverse, a number of new stills from the episode have emerged.

Before the eleventh episode of ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ airs this Thursday, The CW has released a plethora of pictures from ‘The Magnificent Eight’ that show the inhabitants of the Waverider in full on cowboy attire. Luckily, they look much better than Marty McFly did when he first ventured back to this era. And along with these shots comes a new look at Schaech as Hex. You can check them out in the gallery below:

Now that you’ve had a chance to check out Arthur Darvill looking potentially more dapper than his former ‘Doctor Who’ co-star Matt Smith in a cowboy hat, you’re probably wondering what brings our heroes to cross paths with Jonah Hex in the first place. For more details on the upcoming episode, here’s the official synopsis:

When the team needs a place to hide out, Rip sets a course for the Old West. Upon arrival, they start a fight with a gang of outlaws, putting the small town in jeopardy. Luckily, an old friend of Rip’s, Jonah Hex, steps in to save them.

‘Legends of Tomorrow’ starring Arthur Darvill, Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Victor Garber, Franz Drameh, Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Ciara Renée, and Casper Crump airs Thursdays at 8:00pm on The CW.
