Holly Hunter sat down for an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, for a look back at her four decade career, in which the woman who voiced Helen Parr/Elastigirl in the classic animated film ‘The Incredibles’ is actually NOT an action/super hero movie fan!  Yet as the interviewer Jane Pauley points out, she is about to appear on screens worldwide in what promises to be one of the biggest installments in the genre, ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice’ in which Hunter plays a pivotal role as Senator Finch.

While, the interview focuses more on her acting process and career as a whole, there is footage from ‘Batman V Superman’ including an extended look at the courtroom scene in which her character grills Superman (Henry Cavill) following his part in the destructive battle of Metropolis in ‘Man of Steel’.

Here is the entire feature on Hunter, which is interesting if you are a fan of this versatile actor.  But if you are only interested in the ‘Batman V Superman’ footage, it kicks in around 6:19:

The following is a short excerpt from the interview which ONLY includes the ‘Batman V Superman’ footage without Hunter’s commentary.

Hunter does seem taken aback by the thought of being in a movie that the majority of people will actually see.  But she has won enough awards and accolades that she has the freedom to cherry pick the roles she takes.

While we don’t know how much screen time Hunter has in ‘Batman V Superman’, it appears her role is quite important, which is why she’s been so heavily featured in the trailers.

‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ directed by ZackSnyder and starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter, and Jesse Eisenberg hits theaters on March 25, 2016.
