It’s now Day 4 of the ’12 Days of Deadpool,’ and with Christmas just 8 days away, it’s getting close to crunch time when it comes to getting your Christmas shopping done. But what do you get for your favorite red suited superhero? Never fear! Deadpool has you covered as he reveals what’s on his Christmas list this year courtesy of Empire Magazine.
The list is as eclectic as the Merc with a Mouth himself with items such as a real stuffed unicorn, Betty White’s personal phone number and Mario Batali’s pancake spatula. However, it’s the subtle references in some of the other items that really make the list so perfect! Some of these include a signed headshot of Andrew Ridgley (the other half of the 80s pop group Wham who tends to be overshadowed by George Michael’s popularity. Wham was not only the working title for the ‘Deadpool’ film but also is a reference to a scene in the original screenplay penned by Paul Wernick & Rhett Reese), a lock of Beast’s “beautiful blue hair” (got to get in a least one X-Men reference), and a sewing kit (which was clarified for his costume and not his mouth referencing how Deadpool was portrayed in ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine).
As least one on his list has already been granted as Deadpool will be featured on the cover of Empire Magazine which unveiled the image below:

So far, the “12 Days of Deadpool” has given fans a new poster, a hilarious gif and Deadpool’s battle plans. The countdown continues tomorrow all leading up to the release of a second ‘Deadpool’ trailer which will air on ESPN during their NBA basketball games coverage on Christmas Day (hopefully not during the same time as the ‘Doctor Who’ Christmas special!). A red band version of the trailer (which we can all admit will be better than the one aired on ESPN) will also be released. If you can’t wait until December 25th, you can get a 27 second preview of what will be in the trailer during the IMAX screenings of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”
Whether you’ve been naughty or nice, the jolly man with the 6 pack abs in the red suit will be coming on Christmas day and we can hardly wait!
Make sure you come back to ScienceFiction.com tomorrow to see what Deadpool has in store for us on the 5th day!
Directed by Tim Miller, ‘Deadpool’ stars Ryan Reynolds, T.J. Miller, Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand and Gina Carano and will burst into theaters on February 12, 2016.
