We learned that Said Taghmaoui (‘American Hustle’,’Three Kings’) had joined the cast of ‘Wonder Woman‘ by posting and deleting some set photos though no one has known exactly what role he had on the film.
In a recent interview with Ultra, however, he may have dropped a few hints on where he’ll be in the movie and interestingly enough it could very well be another superhero! While he doesn’t give any specifics as to the part he’ll be playing, he does drop a few hints, explain how he got the role, and what he’s had to do in order to prepare for it.
So who will he end up playing? The answers aren’t forthcoming though he does say that:
“I’ll be playing a superhero, but details are still under wraps, so I can’t tell you much.”
While the translation could actually be that he’s playing a good guy as opposed to a superhero the next statement seems to lend more to the fact that he actually is going to be someone that works alongside Princess Diana with saving the world. We do know that it was tough to get the role and he’s had to prepare quite a bit for it:
“I was among hundreds of potential candidates, and I slowly became the favorite. It wasn’t easy. It took me three months. [I’ll have to go through] extensive physical training. Shooting was slated to begin in November, and will take about 6 months, in 4 different countries.”
Extensive physical training tends to mean that he’ll be playing someone who is out to save the world. Which hero will be be? Currently we have no idea. However, with the studio seemingly introducing new characters left and right it should come as no surprise that ‘Wonder Woman’ will have another hero being thrown into the mix.
