Things looked bleak when we last left ‘Person of Interest.’ Samaritan seemed to gain the upper hand as Team Machine quickly retreated to regroup and attempt to fix a main component of their unit, The Machine. Now in this clip from Season 5 of the series, we see how much work Finch and Root have in front of them.
Here, Finch is testing the AI’s visual recognition program and it appears there are still a few bugs that need to be worked out of the system. Take a look:
As you can see, a lot more work needs to be done before The Machine is able to get back into the game.
On a side note, while ‘Person of Interest’ tends to deal heavily in the drama department, the bits of humor that the cast has exhibited from time to time really shines and it definitely shows in this teaser. Michael Emerson, Jim Caviezel, Kevin Chapman and Amy Acker do a bang up job with their impressions of each other making it that more bittersweet knowing that Season 5 will only be 13 episodes.
