Quicksilver Speeds Into 1:6th Scale

Don’t blink! You might miss the latest figure to join Hot Toys 1:6th Scale ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ collection! The newest figure to join this already huge colleciton of figures is the fastest Avenger around, Quicksilver! This beautifully crafted 1:6th scale figure is based on the characters appearance as portrayed by Aaron Taylor-Johnson in this summer’s mega-blockbuster ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’! Quicksilver is a little short on accessories compared to his compatriots in this line, but still includes several sets of alternate hands and a special display stand! Check out the full release from Hot Toys below:

“You didn’t see that coming?”

In Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, Pietro Maximoff a.k.a Quicksilver has undergone experiments by HYDRA to obtain superpowers with increased metabolism and improved homeostasis. When the Maximoff twins learned of Ultron’s plan to cause human extinction, they joined the Avengers to stop the terrible fate from happening. Many people have been longing for this fast-running newcomer and now Hot Toys is officially introducing this new 1/6th scale collectible figure for fans to complete their Avengers: Age of Ultron team.

The movie-accurate Quicksilver Collectible Figure is specially crafted based on the image of Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver in Avengers: Age of Ultron. It features a newly developed head sculpt with detailed hair sculpture, specially tailored costume, and an Avengers: Age of Ultron themed figure stand.

Now it’s the time to complete your Avengers: Age of Ultron collection with the Quicksilver 1/6th scale collectible figure!

The Dynasty Strikes Back

A few months back we talked about some awesome new ‘Star Wars’ concept figures coming our way from Tamashii Nations S.H. Figuarts line that took classic ‘Star Wars’ characters and combined them with the iconic look of the Samurai from feudal Japan to create the ‘Star Wars Movie Realization’ series. While we saw Darth Vader and a Storm Trooper before, we are just now getting our first look at the all new Ronin inspired Boba Fett figure from this line!

Everyone’s favorite Bounty Hunter Boba Fett will include a ton of accessories like a katana, alternate hands, a jetpack (not sure how that really fits into the ‘feudal japan’ theme, but lets jsut go with it), several throwing knives, and of course, Boba Fett’s trusty blaster. He also includes a figure stand for display.

This all new Figuarts Ronin Boba Fett is set to hit the market later this year in November, so be sure to keep an eye out for him! He has an expected MSRP of around $76.

 “Stay Off The Moores!”

While it’s hard to pinpoint exactly which Werewolf movie is considered to be the single greatest one, Johnathan Landis’ ‘American Werewold In London’ is by and far one of the best. Now the iconic beast featured in this cinematic classic can be a part of your collectibles display thanks to Pop Culture Shock’s all new Kessler Wolf 1:4 Scale Statue! After months of teasing glimpses of this monstrosity while it was in development, PCS has finally previewed a look at the fully painted statue.

There will be two alternative versions of this new Kessler Wolf 1:4 Scale Statue- a Standard Edition (500 pieces) and a special Pop Culture Shock Exclusive Edition (300 pieces). The Standard Edition of this statue will feature an ‘open mouthed’ head sculpt, while the special PCS Exclusive Edition will include both ‘open mouth’ and ‘closed mouth’ head sculpts that will be interchangeable.

The Kessler Wolf 1:4 Scale Statue has an expected MSRP of $399.99. It is scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2016, so you have plenty of time to save up to add this guy to your collection!
