After some last minute negotiation hurdles to jump over, it looks like Channing Tatum will indeed be starring in Rupert Wyatt’s X-Men spinoff ‘Gambit’ for 20th Century Fox. Now that things have been settled with the male lead, the production can move on to finding the leading lady. And according to the latest reports, there are some very talented actresses in the running for that role.

Deadline recently shared that the studio is currently casting the part of Bella Donna Bourdreaux, the first love of a young Remy LeBeau that possesses the mutant ability to create plasma blasts. The two met when they were children in New Orleans when they were arranged to be married to unite the rival Assassins’ and Thieves’ Guilds. Things began to fall apart after that when Gambit and Bella’s brother found themselves in a duel and the Ragin’ Cajun came out on top, which got him exiled from the city.

So who is in line to fill the role of Bella Donna? Right now the list consists of Rebecca Ferguson, Lea Seydoux, and Abbey Lee. These three up and coming actresses have certainly been creating their fair share of buzz lately. After starring alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in ‘Hercules’ last year, Ferguson has been praised for with her performance in ‘Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation’. Lee went from Victoria Secret Fashion Show model to ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ and the upcoming ‘Gods of Egypt’. As for Seydoux, you may know her from ‘Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol’, ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’, or the upcoming Bond film ‘Spectre’, but most will probably remember her for gaining critical acclaim in the sexually-charged slice of life ‘Blue Is The Warmest Color’.

Any of these three could definitely thrive as Bella Donna Bourdreaux in ‘Gambit’, but which one do you like best? Who do you think matches up with Channing Tatum’s Remy LeBeau the best? Let us know in the comment section.
