The Mona Lisa is the most famous painting in the world bringing about everlasting intrigue. However, you might be surprised to learn that a few paranormal investigators believe Leonardo da Vinci makes an allusion to the presence of aliens in his famous portrait.

According to a group of conspiracy theorists called The Paranormal Crucible, if you mirror the Mona Lisa and join the two images together, you can make out what looks like an alien figure as seen in the video above.

The Paranormal Crucible suggests that da Vinci painted half an alien to reveal that extraterrestrials were occupying Earth and the Roman Catholic Church was covering it up.

Many theologians believe that Leonardo da Vinci deliberately concealed secret codes and subliminal messages in most of his work. If this is true then it’s reasonable to assume that the Mona Lisa was in fact painted in order to conceal important historical and religious facts possibly regarding the extraterrestrial presence and its surreptitious involvement within the Roman Catholic Church.

If you think that claim is pretty far-fetched, Scott C. Waring of UFO Sightings Daily believes that da Vinci himself may have actually been an alien.

He shows all the signs. He had very high intellectual ability, extraordinary creative range, and used them to accomplish quite a bit. Leonardo is somebody who is able to operate across all these various fields, which is very unusual. Geniuses rarely are great in all areas like Leonardo. He was known for hiding secret messages and codes in his artwork, so this new discovery gives us the key we have been missing about him. His extraordinary abilities came from or were those of aliens.

However, given that da Vinci was private about his personal life and the fact that we have little evidence to prove that aliens don’t exist, maybe it’s best to hold off on discrediting these theories just yet. After all, it makes my theory that the Vitruvian Man is actually a vampire all the more plausible.
