In anticipation of the upcoming release of ‘Tomorrowland,’ Disney has been releasing clips from the movie to help build up fan excitement for Brad Bird’s latest epic cinematic adventure. While the first clip is a part of the sneak preview clip that was shown before ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron,’ for those who did not get to see it in theaters, it shows the robot attack on George Clooney’s character Frank’s house, and the wild inventions he has to stymie said robots and help protect the young girl (Britt Robertson) he has with him.

In the second clip, we see Britt Robertson’s character first get the Tomorrowland pin after being released from police custody, a pin that transport her to another world it seems whenever she touches it. She is picked up from the station by her father, who thinks she is on drugs based on her description of the pin, and the fact that he does not “travel” anywhere when he touches it. She tries again to ensure she is not crazy, and she is transported once again to the other world, though she remains sitting in the truck in the real world, and travelling at speed, which is difficult to explain but you’ll understand once you see the clip.

In the final clip, young Frank (played by Thomas Robinson), in an early adventure in Tomorrowland, struggles to strap on a jetpack as he falls into the city-scape, barely managing to get it tied on and activated before he hits the ground, culminating with him using the jetpack to fly around the city and see the sights.

The movie does indeed look highly original, and I expect it’ll be a wildly entertaining ride, especially with Brad Bird running the show, though its unconventional look might not be the biggest draw for audiences, who tend to flock to sequels and big action movies in the summer season.

Here’s hoping the movie finds it audience and lives up to its potential when it comes out on May 22.
