Agent Carter‘ is coming back for Season 2, and it seems the threats against the world and the SSR are no longer limited to their headquarters in New York. According to the synopsis released by the show, Peggy will be heading to Hollywood for ‘her most dangerous assignment yet,’ where she will find a slew of new characters to join her, and potentially find a love interest to finally help her get over Captain America. Of course, according to what was released, she will also find a “sinister threat’ that she will have to defeat, but hey, it would not be a Marvel show if there wasn’t a danger that threatens the lives of the hero and those around her. Check out the full synopsis below:

“Dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home — and perhaps even a new love — she’s about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.”

With Peggy moving to LA, is there a chance Mr. Stark will follow? We know in the future Tony Stark started out in Los Angeles, and I wonder if perhaps that will be explained here. Also, there’s been rumors of a bit of a time jump between seasons 1 and 2. I wonder whether Peggy and Stark will began musing about founding a little organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D., as we know Peggy was one of the founders, but so far have seen no sign of the storied organization. Also, I wonder how many episodes Peggy Carter received for her second season. The first brief season was only 8 episodes but now that it has been officially picked up, I wonder if they might give the show a full season of 22 episodes, similar to what ‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ has.

Are you excited to see ‘Agent Carter’ come back? Disappointed that her return potentially killed the Bobbi/Hunter spin-off from ‘Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD?’ Let u know in the comments below!
