Marvel’s secrecy be damned! Or so the Spanish and German actor Daniel Bruhl seems to think, commenting rather casually about his upcoming turn as Baron Zemo in ‘Captain America: Civil War.’ News that Zemo was going to be the villain in ‘Captain America 3’ was not exactly surprising, as most people had pretty much guessed that was going to be the case already, but it was more Bruhl’s cavalier attitude toward revealing the information that was surprising, as Marvel usually keeps a tight reign on information regarding its movies, and when that information will be released to the public.

In the ‘Civil War’ comic, Baron Zemo has a huge role to play in the story, working with Tony Stark to recruit villains onto the pro-registration side, while also helping Captain America escape from custody when he is captured by Stark’s government forces. Of course, the MCU has never been one to stick by the source story in its entirety, so I’m sure Zemo’s arc in the movie will have plenty of unanticipated twists and turns, and with the Russo brothers at the helm, I’m sure he’ll be handled well.

Check out the exact quote below, spoken to the news outlet ‘The Independent’:

“I think I can tell you that without being thrown into Marvel prison… For the first few days I’ll walk around like a little boy, just amazed by the megalomania of it. It’s such a huge project. We could do 20 films with the budget.”

With ‘Captain America: Civil War’ beginning filming in the coming weeks, we’re sure to get lots more information about the massive sequel to ‘Winter Solider,’ especially since there are so many other heroes involved besides just Cap. As for the man himself, it seems star Chris Evans is prepping to return to the role, even shaving his winter beard recently to get back into the part. See his tweet below:

What are your thoughts on the Zemo reveal? Is he a strong enough villain for a movie with this many heroes (that’s not an ‘Avengers’ movie) ? Let us know your opinion in the comments below!
