If you’ve been dying to find out what lies in store for ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens‘ you’ll be wanting to check out the new trailer which is scheduled to screen before Marvel’s upcoming blockbuster ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron‘! Honestly it probably shouldn’t surprise anyone out there that Disney would use one of their blockbuster franchises and studios to promote another for what will most likely be the two largest grossing films of the year. While the May 1st release date of ‘Avengers Age of Ultron’ will be the first widespread US showing of the new trailer, we do know that it will be premiering at the ‘Star Wars Celebration convention’ from April 16th to 19th and ‘Avengers Age of Ultron’ will have its international release date on April 22nd.
Keeping those earlier viewings of ‘Age of Ultron’ in mind, it makes you wonder when the ‘Star Wars’ trailer will show up online. With the studio having to debut the first trailer of ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ ahead of schedule due to a low quality version having being leaked online, it wouldn’t surprise me if they wanted to make sure they got all of their views in by releasing the official one before a bootleg surfaces.
While we don’t know exact what we’ll be seeing in the next trailer for ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ quite yet, one rumor did have the original cast being featured in the next one. Mark Hamill already explained that they weren’t in it as the movie as much as would would like to think as it is “about the new generation of characters; I think that’s the most important thing.” Of course, fans will want to see some familiar faces so we’ll see if that happens in the near future.
Can you wait until our next look at ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’? Will you be seeing ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ earlier than expected in order to check out the trailer as soon as possible? Share your thoughts below!
