Now that ‘Spider-Verse’ has come to an end (except for the upcoming epilogue), each Spider Totem has returned to their own respective worlds. Last week, we saw how Cindy Moon had settled back into the 616 Universe in ‘Silk’ #1, but this week we’ll get to see another fan favorite Spider-lady get back into the swing of things.

Since breaking out of ‘Edge of Spider-Verse’ #2, Spider-Gwen has proven to be one of the most popular characters to come out of the recent Spidey event. Now, we’ll get to see Gwen Stacy back in her natural habitat in her own ongoing series. But first, we have a special preview of the first issue before it hits the shelves at your local comic book store.

This Wednesday, True Believers can finally get their hands on the highly anticipated ‘Spider-Gwen’ #1 from Jason Latour, Robbi Rodriguez, and Rico Renzi. Spinning directly out of the pages of ‘Spider-Verse’, the team that brought this newly beloved character to life has reunited to bring us an all-new adventure from Earth-65. And before we get the whole story, we have a lettered preview of the first issue courtesy of Comic Book Movie, plus a few variant covers that you may not have seen before from Jamie McKelvie of ‘Young Avengers’ and ‘The Wicked + The Divine’, J. Scott Campbell, and ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ artist Humberto Ramos:

• BECAUSE YOU DEMANDED IT! The breakout hit of the biggest Spider-Event of the century is taking comic shops by storm this winter with her own new ongoing series – SPIDER-GWEN!

• Gwen Stacy is Spider-Woman, but you knew that already. What you DON’T know is what friends and foes are waiting for her in the aftermath of Spider-Verse!

• From the fan-favorite creative team that brought you Spider-Gwen’s origin story in EDGE OF SPIDER-VERSE, Jason Latour and Robbie Rodriguez!

Are you excited for ‘Spider-Gwen’ #1? Have you already added it to your pull list? Do you think that you’ll get any of the variants like Jamie McKelvie’s excellent homage to Todd McFarlane’s iconic ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ #300 cover? Let us know in the comments below.
