While many of you can’t wait to share your love for ‘Deadpool’ next Valentine’s Day, we have a special treat in the form of a teaser image of the film to share with you! Ryan Reynolds (‘Green Lantern’,’R.I.P.D.’) has taken to Twitter to show off a brief hint of what he’ll be wearing when ‘Deadpool’ arrives to slice and dice whoever he considers the bad guys next year. I’m not sure if director Tim Miller gave him the go ahead for this or if Reynolds just went with it.
Either way, I’m glad we are getting a preview! We also have some bonus commentary from the character’s creator Rob Liefeld who joined in with a tweet of his own.
First? The big reveal!
Sepia tone disguises the fact the mask is ballerina pink. It’s early. 365 sleeps early. #deadpool #prototypes pic.twitter.com/PekFa2KS7S

Okay so we’re stuck with a Sepia look and can’t really see much here. We have an in progress mask that is apparently pink and some gloves. As the image states, this is a prototype so expect to see something more polished for the final product. We’re not getting an all-black Daredevil origin story suit here!
If that wasn’t enough for you about Reynolds and his uniform, Liefeld made sure to share a comment as well!
For all the folks that have been asking, “Will Deadpool be in costume??” That’s all you need right there. Putting Origins behind us…

I’m pretty sure we all were hoping from the leaked trial footage that we’d get the Merc with the Mouth to be in costume the whole time. I’m glad for some added confirmation though. Now the one problem many will have is that the image there is a little too dark and you can’t really get a good look at what to expect.
Now for the REAL bonus. Who says the Internet is only about cats? There are also a ton of great photo manipulation tools out there!
