Activision and Sledgehammer Games have released a new trailer for the upcoming ‘Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’ Havoc DLC coming out next week, which features gameplay for the Exo Zombies mode.

The major focus of the new trailer is the Exo Zombies mode, which is a cooperative multiplayer mode in ‘Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’ that has players working together to gun down agile exo skeleton suit equipped zombies.

Exo Zombies mode also has a story attached to it that throws players into a world where a DNA bioweapon has inexplicably turned an entire Atlas research facility into a horde of bloodthirsty zombies, causing those still human to attempt an evacuation. However, when the evacuation inevitably fails, four untrained survivors are forced to face off against the zombie horde as well as a series of other horrifying mutated creatures.

Bringing the story to life is are the voices and likenesses celebrity cast consisting of John Malkovich (‘In the Line of Fire,’ ‘Burn After Reading’), Bill Paxton (‘Aliens,’ ‘Edge of Tomorrow’), Rose McGowan (‘Scream’, ‘Charmed‘) and Jon Bernthal (‘Fury,’ ‘The Walking Dead‘).

On top of the Exo Zombies mode, the Havoc DLC pack will also include four new multiplayer maps, access to the AE4 energy assault rifle and the AE4 Widowmaker custom variant.

The Havoc DLC itself is included in the ‘Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’ Season Pass, which is available for $49.99. However, those interested in purchasing the pack separately can do so for $14.99.

Long time players of the ‘Call of Duty’ franchise are sure to be familiar with cooperative multiplayer-based Zombies mode. Originally debuting in ‘Call of Duty: World at War’, the mode has been showing up in various different entries in the franchise ever since.

The ‘Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’ Havoc DLC will be releasing first on Xbox 360 and Xbox One on January 27, with a release on other platforms to follow sometime after.
