“It takes courage to believe.”

Back in June, Open Road Films acquired the US distribution rights for the film ‘Little Boy’ and we now have the first trailer to share!

‘Little Boy’ centers on 7 year old Pepper Flynt Busbee (played by Jakob Salvati) who believes he has the magical power to end World War II and bring his father home safe.

The trailer portrays the movie as a cute family film which shouldn’t be surprising as it is from executive producers Romy Downey (who played Monica in ‘Touched by an Angel) and Mark Burnett (executive producer of shows such as ‘Shark Tank,’ ‘Survivor’). The two are also working on the reboot of ‘Ben-Hur.’

While considered an indie film, ‘Little Boy’ has some great talent on screen which include 2 time Oscar nominee Emily Watson (‘The Theory of Everything,’ ‘The Book Thief’), Kevin James (‘Pixels,’ ‘Grown Ups’), Tom Wilkinson (‘Batman Begins,’ ‘The Lone Ranger’) and David Henrie (‘Wizards of Waverly Place’).

‘Little Boy’ isn’t due out until February 2015, but in the meantime, you can check out the trailer below!

Directed by Alejandro Monteverde, ‘Little Boy’ is set to be released in the US on February 27, 2015.
