Sledgehammer Games has released a trailer announcing the brand new Exo Zombies mode for ‘Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.’

The trailer doesn’t show much in the way of gameplay for the famous mode’s newest iteration but it does show a little bit of what players can expect from zombies this time around.

For Exo Zombies mode in ‘Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare,’ things seem to be taken up a notch with zombies being equipped with the game’s much talked about exo skeleton suit, an equitable rig that gives its user increased movement and speed with abilities like double jumping and dashing. Yet, when in the hands of a zombie, the exo skeleton suit looks to be allowing for an immensely unfortunate increase in their maneuverability.

The first chapter of the Exo Zombies mode will be releasing with the upcoming Havoc DLC pack coming out early next year. Those interested in getting the mode can pre-purchase it through the Season Pass, which also includes three other upcoming DLC packs on top of the Havoc DLC. However, those not interested in the Season Pass will be able to purchase the Exo Zombie mode separately.

If you’re a long-time player of the ‘Call of Duty’ franchise then chances are you’ll know that Zombies mode is highly regarded among a chunk of the fan base. Originally known as Nazi Zombies mode when it first debuted as a mode in ‘Call of Duty: World at War’, Zombies mode has been featured in various select entries of the franchise ever since. The mode itself revolves around throwing players in a map where they are tasked with cooperating together to gun down as many endless waves of zombies as they possibly can before they inevitably fail.

Exo Zombie mode will come with the Havoc DLC pack, which will release sometime early next year. ‘Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’ is available now for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PC.
