2015 will be a year of nostalgia as many movies of our childhood will be releasing sequels. There’s ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ in December, ‘Terminator Genysis’ in July and in June, Universal will be releasing ‘Jurassic World.‘ Not much has been given away about this film, but today we can finally get a first official look of the film via this teaser for the trailer!
While we hate teasers for trailers, it has become quite the norm lately and looks like it’s here to stay. With that being said, this teaser does evoke a lot of nostalgia bringing back memories of the first time those gates opened and movie audiences saw dinosaurs running by in the original ‘Jurassic Park’ trailer.
Check it out below!
Yes, it’s only 15 seconds long and doesn’t reveal anything about the plot but it does tease that the official trailer will be released this Thursday at 9PM ET/6PM PT. So in other words, don’t eat too much turkey that you fall asleep and miss it. (Don’t worry, just in case you do, you know we’ll have it up on ScienceFiction.com!)
Directed by Colin Trevorrow, ‘Jurassic World’ stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Judy Greer, Ty Simpkins and Omar Sy. It hits theaters on June 12, 2015.
