While not one of the core members of the original ‘Suicide Squad’ team, in the new 52 update of the series, Harley Quinn is prominently featured, and it seems Warner Bros sees it as the perfect opportunity to finally bring the Joker’s psychotic paramour to the big screen. For anyone unfamiliar with Delevingne, below is a recent instagram photo she released:
In a strange twist, just a few weeks ago Delevingne posted a photo of herself as ‘Harley Quinn’ on her instagram, which you can see below. The film is looking to feature some major Hollywood players already, with names like Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, and Tom Hardy supposedly in talks to star, not to mention rumors of Jesse Eisenberg’s ‘Lex Luthor’ potentially being involved in the film as well. The film has not yet begun production, but looks very likely to be released in 2016, potentially in the August 5th slot Warner Bros has claimed already.
