Paramount Pictures has released what could be the final trailer for Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film ‘Interstellar.’ The trailer was hidden on the film’s Space Hunt viral site but can now be seen here!
While not a lot of about ‘Interstellar’ has been forthcoming, what is known is that the story follows Matthew McConaughey’s character “Coop” who leads a team of fellow astronauts (played by Anne Hathaway, Wes Bentley and David Gyasi) into space to find a new home for humanity as the ecological system on Earth is deteriorating to the point it can no longer sustain life. The problem is, as with all aspects of interstellar travel and its relationship to time, will they be able to find a planet and return before life on Earth is gone.
The studio is not holding back as ‘Interstellar’ will be released in various formats: 70mm IMAX, 70mm film, 35mm film, IMAX, 4k digital and regular digital versions. What is interesting to note is that the trailer advertises the release of the film in IMAX 2 days before the theatrical release of film, so fans will get a chance to see ‘Interstellar’ earlier than expected.
