When the first trailer for ‘Big Hero 6‘ debuted, as adorable as it was, there wasn’t any dialogue from neither the young tech prodigy Hiro Hamada nor his large robot companion Baymax. Since then, a few new posters surfaced to introduce us to the goofy duo and the rest of the team, but now we actually get to hear the lovable hero speak thanks to the latest teaser for the first animated feature film from Disney and Marvel.
Earlier this week, the official Facebook page for the upcoming movie shared a short video with the hashtag #MeetBaymax where we got to hear the hero speak for the first time. Although it only lasts for twenty seconds, you immediately fall in love with the muscle of the team. You can check out the teaser below, followed by the synopsis of the film:
With all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Big Hero 6 is an action-packed comedy-adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius—thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie GoGo Tamago, neatnik Wasabi, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiro turns to his closest companion—a robot named Baymax—and transforms the group into a band of high-tech heroes determined to solve the mystery.
Furthermore, if you haven’t gotten enough of Baymax yet, Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Tumblr released an ad from this year’s ESPN Body Issue featuring the character in all his inflated glory. Also, judging by his motivational philosophy, we might be in for some sad moments when the film hits theaters in the fall. Until then, check out the ad below:
Are you happy to #MeetBaymax in these two new promotional items for ‘Big Hero 6’? Do you look forward to meeting the rest of the team soon? Let us know in the comment section.
‘Big Hero 6’ hits theaters on November 7, 2014.
