I had a feeling that we were going to get some original marketing for Marvel’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy‘ soon and a new website offering Galaxy Getaways was designed to do just that! This interactive website is a spoof of a travel agency that offers travel to three destinations around the galaxy, Xandar, Moran, and Knowhere.

You can select a destination and from a creative use of maps they will zoom into your location, pick you up, and send you to either of the three destinations. Xandar being the home of the Nova Corps, Morag being an abandoned planet where one can explore the ruins of an ancient civilization, and most importantly Knowhere is at the edge of the galaxy and is a combination of Vegas and a certain smuggler’s bar on Tatooine. In the cinematic universe it is run by The Collector and I highly suspect this is where we’ll see a certain cameo by Nathan Fillion pop up at.

On top of this there are games, information, and more! Completely worth checking out and they just want to make sure that humanity knows that #YoureWelcome for the opportunity. Why? Well because according to the trailer you can watch right here…

“Some of the most beautiful destinations on Earth, look like s#!t compared to the rest of the galaxy!”

Marketing at its best my friends! Honestly it fits the tone we’ve been given of the film so far and I think this is pretty perfect.

Are you looking forward to the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ true believers? Which of these exotic destinations would you want to see first?
