In the season finale of ‘Once Upon A Time’, Disney/ABC teased that the characters from the phenomenon ‘Frozen’ would be moving to the fictitious town of Storybrooke, home to the various fairy tale characters who have crossed over to the real world, with a cameo appearance by Elsa, the Ice Queen and star of the movie.
They then revealed that Elsa’s sister Anna and her love interest Kristoff would also be joining the series in recurring roles. Earlier this week, we learned that Elizabeth Lail would be playing Anna and Scott Michael Foster would be playing Kristoff. But what of the real star of the movie, Elsa?
Well, they’ve found her in the form of ‘Fringe‘ vet Georgina Haig. It’s not clear yet what roles the ‘Frozen’ characters will take on the series, but it is known that they will follow the aftermath of the film, with orphan Kristoff suddenly learning the ropes of becoming royalty.
What are the odds of Olaff showing up? Or what about villainous Hans? The movie is now the highest grossing animated film of all time, with a Broadway stage production in the works. It makes sense that ABC would jump at the chance to work the characters into its popular prime time series ‘Once Upon A Time’.
But what do you think? Is Georgina Haig the right choice to portray Elsa? Are you ready to see the ‘Frozen’ cast brought to life in live-action? Sound off below.
