Back in February, Marvel Studios , after a few teasers, premiered the first trailer for ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’. Last week, along with a new poster for James Gunn’s upcoming Phase Two film, teasers began to emerge once again for a second trailer, including the first time we hear Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon. Now, that new trailer has dropped and not only do we get more of Rocket, but we hear Groot’s voice for the first time as well.

After a Facebook Q&A session this morning with director Gunn, producer Kevin Feige, and stars Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, and Vin Diesel, the official page for the film debuted a brand new trailer for ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’. There’s a ton of new footage and another interesting song choice with ‘Spirit In The Sky’ by Norman Greenbaum (with ‘Hooked On A Feeling’ making a cute comeback at the end). You can check it out below, followed by the synopsis of the movie:

From Marvel, the studio that brought you the global blockbuster franchises of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, comes a new team — the Guardians of the Galaxy. An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits — Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Peter discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand — with the galaxy’s fate in the balance.

Seriously, I already love Groot, especially in that scene with the little girl and with the mixtape. Also, Bradley Cooper does not sound as bad as I thought he would as Rocket. But besides getting better looks at our heroes, we also get to see some of our villains as well. In the first trailer, we got a good look at Karen Gillan’s Nebula, but now we can see Lee Pace’s Ronan the Accuser and his trusty Universal Weapon. In the Q&A, Gunn mentioned that a villains poster could be on it’s way soon as a compliment to the recent epic poster that we got last week, so hopefully we’ll be seeing more of the primary villain of the film shortly.
