Marvel is one of the biggest entities in entertainment today. Whether if it’s in the movie theater, on your television set, or on your handheld device, superheroes like Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor can be found just about anywhere these days. But they all got their starts in the pages of Marvel Comics and now Steve Rogers is making the trip from the page to the screen and back to the page again.
Earlier this year, Marvel announced that they would be releasing a comic book tie-in to ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ called ‘Captain America: Homecoming’. Before Cap joins up with the Falcon and takes on the Winter Soldier, the Marvel Cinematic Universe version of the Sentinel of Liberty travels back to his hometown of Brooklyn, New York with the Black Widow to track a mysterious weapon known as the Zodiac. Previously, we got a few unlettered promo pics from the book, but now we have some actual pages to show off prior to it’s release. You can check them out from writer Fred Van Lente and artist Tom Grummett below thanks to Comic Book Movie:
• Captain America and the Black Widow leap into action in an all-new, cinematic-set adventure!
• What brings Steve Rogers back to tour his old Brooklyn neighborhood? Hint: It’s not just the milk shakes!
• Plus: Reprinting the first appearance of Cap’s #1 wingman, the high-flying Falcon!
