Marvel might have ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ and their upcoming Netflix shows but that isn’t stopping them from putting out more original content either. Marvel’s upcoming documentary ‘Marvel: Assembling a Universe‘ shows behind the scenes footage and interviews that brought us the cinematic universe that they’ve created today. It is full of amazing insight on how they’ve put together the worlds we are enjoying in the movies, television, and the one shots. To celebrate that, we have 2 new preview clips and the official promo for the documentary that will be airing next Tuesday March 18th at 8pm on ABC!

First up they go into detail on how they had to make a universe that was fun to watch and didn’t include Spider-Man, X-Men, and the Fantastic Four:

Next up, we see part of the spotlight segment on Robert Downey Jr. (‘Iron Man’ ,’The Avengers’) as he talks about his character as Tony Stark/Iron Man, a role that fans can agree that he has was perfectly cast for. What would a set of interviews be without the man who starred in the film that truly kicked off the cinematic universe?

Finally we have the promo itself which lets us know about the slew of guests they’ll have on board and what we’ll be seeing including new promos for ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier‘, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy‘, ‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’, and ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron‘.

Lots of teases for the future will be shown in ‘Assembling a Universe’ and it seems like the must see TV event for fans of the films who want to know more about how things got to where they are as well as where they are going! Will you be watching?
