SyFy has renewed their Stephen King based series, ‘Haven’, for another season. Not only that, but fans of the show will be ecstatic to hear that it’s actually a double season. That’s right ladies and gentlemen, we’re going to be following Audrey Parker (Emily Rose) around for double the episode count this fall! Well at least 13 of them starting this fall and another 13 to air in 2015.

Apparently the fourth season did so well it was the show’s highest mention on social networks, Twitter specifically. On top of that, the ratings were up 11% among adults aged 18-34. On average the most recent season was shown to 1.1 million adults between 25-54 with a total of 2.3 million viewers per week! It was also ranked second in Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54 among original cable series in its Friday 10PM ET/PT time slot. This is pretty impressive because as much as I absolutely love the show, I can guarantee you I’m not watching it on Friday nights! (Not from any kind of a social life. I’m just usually too beaten down at that point to be able to tune in!) At this time all of the major cast members are set to resume their roles.

News of this renewal is bittersweet for many fans of the SyFy lineup. While they will cheer on the continuation of ‘Haven’, they’ll also be sulking about the campy yet ever fun adventure of  ‘Warehouse 13’ as the show is entering its final season. With both it and ‘Eureka‘ having come to a close it, might be a finale in the future at the end of Season 5 or 6 here. Honestly I hope not as I still feel there is plenty of ‘Haven’ stories to tell!

Fans of ‘Haven’ are you excited to see a return of The Troubles?
