We already know that when Marvel’s ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ returns on January 7th (my late birthday present!) that we’re going to see Saffron Burrows (‘Troy’,’Fay Grim’) as Director Victoria Hand running the team in Coulson’s absence but the question is how long would she be running it for?
Thankfully either Coulson or S.H.I.E.L.D. is as good as they are cracked up to be as they are apparently back in the thick of things in the second episode after the mid-season break. It seems a bit quick but I suppose we’re to accept he wasn’t gone long enough for S.H.I.E.L.D. to assume he’s been compromised. Even with all of the various alien and advanced tech that is out and about right now. I do have to say it seems a bit early for them to be revealing that Coulson will get away a full 5 days before the show returns.
At least their making progress on Skye’s past, right? Nah, at least they’ve got Lola back and she’s being used for some gold ol’ fashion chasing going on!
