The saga of Batkid left us all in tears and with a renewed hope in humanity. Well, now you can relive all of that again because the ‘San Francisco Chronicle’ released a short film documenting the big day.

The video talks about how Miles Scott’s story became a viral sensation. Get those tissues ready! This video will leave you in tears once again!

5-year-old Miles Scott made national attention for being a superhero for a day. He’s been battling leukemia since he was two. That in itself already makes him a superhero! Scott is currently in remission.

On November 15, The Make a Wish Foundation transformed San Francisco into Gotham City. Miles Scott took on his alter ego, Batkid and assisted Batman with some big saves. He rescued a damsel in distress and helped put the Riddler and Penguin behind bars. Batkid also saved a kidnapped mascot and found money that was stolen from the bank.

Batkid is certainly an inspiration to us all and the amount of support both in San Francisco and online was absolutely astounding. Thousands of people took to the streets of San Francisco to cheer him on and many people from Barack Obama to the cast of ‘Arrow‘ cheered for Batkid online.

What do you think of this video? How has Batkid personally inspired you?
