(UPDATED VIDEO WITH NO SUBTITLES)

Whovians around the world are anxiously waiting for the official release of not one, but TWO trailers for the highly anticipated 50th anniversary special ‘The Day of the Doctor’.

Not much has been seen from the special episode except for this very short teaser. Those who attended last July’s Comic-Con were treated with a full length trailer but was sworn to secrecy by showrunner Steven Moffat to not share video of it on the web. While many fans who were not able to get to Comic-Con were miffed by this (especially the ones in the UK), Whovians were true to their word. Comic-Con was held nearly 4 months ago and there still has not been any footage leaking out… maybe until now.

While the BBC has announced that one of the trailers for ‘The Day of the Doctor’ will air on BBC One at 7:50 pm BST (2:50 pm ET/11:50 am PT), this little trailer has popped up online, a day before the official premiere. It’s not known if this will be one of trailers the BBC will be airing tomorrow, but nonetheless, it looks amazing!

Check it out below:

This trailer has all the elements of what we’ve heard would be in the episode with glimpses of Daleks, Zygons, Queen Elizabeth, Gallifrey, Rose with her Bad Wolf powers and of course, fan favorites John Hurt, David Tennant and Matt Smith.  A lot is going on in this short 40 seconds!

First spotted on the BBC Latin America FB page, the trailer was quickly taken down – apparently it might have been posted a bit early. This seems to be the same one seen in Hall H at Comic Con, but maybe a tad shorter? Anyway, it is still fantastic to watch! Hopefully the second trailer that is to premiere will be longer.

So what do you think fellow Whovians? Has your anticipation for ‘The Day of the Doctor’ just increased exponentially, because mine did!
