Moviefone has unveiled a new clip from ‘Thor: The Dark World’ which, interestingly, depicts the mythological main characters flying through Asgard in what appears to be an alien space craft. The film will pit Thor along with Loki and his other allies against Malekith the Accursed (Christopher Eccleston). So I’m not sure where the space ships came from, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

As you can see, the snappy banter that we’ve grown accustomed to is present. “Well out of the two of us, which one can actually fly?” Who knew Thor could be so catty? I guess growing up with Loki, you have to sharpen your tongue a little bit. (Think back to the “adopted” line from ‘The Avengers’.)

Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.
The movie, directed by Alan Taylor opens in the US on November 8th, 2013.
