After many months of anticipation, ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ is only about three weeks away from premiering. Later this month, Marvel’s first television show to be set within their cinematic universe will be unveiled for the whole world to see and I’m sure each and every living room is anxiously awaiting the return of Agent Phil Coulson, who we tragically lost in ‘The Avengers’ seemingly forever. But now that we know that he’ll be back, we have some more information about his return in this brand new behind the scenes look at his upcoming show.
Over on ABC, the network that act as the home base for Coulson and his team, Iron Chef Michael Symon recently had the cast on his daytime lifestyle series ‘The Chew’ for a chat about what to expect from ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’. During the segment, Symon goes into each character a bit with their respective actors and they show off a little bit of new footage. You can check out the six-minute video below:
While we’ve been getting a series of vignettes lately to introduce us to the newest team of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, it’s refreshing to see Chef Symon inquire about the recipe that makes a good Marvel show. He masterfully examines the ingredients with the people who know them best. Sure, it won’t help him in his next match in Kitchen Stadium, but his presentation here with the cast was definitely five stars. Hopefully the series itself will get a similar rating, and early buzz says it should be.
