Earlier this month, the first picture from the London set of Marvel’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ surfaced featuring Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer in a giant tank of water. Now, more photos have emerged, but we don’t get to see any more of Peter Quill’s ragtag team. Instead, we get a glimpse of what else is out there in the galaxy.

Previously, we learned that the Nova Corps, including a Nova Prime played by Glenn Close, would be featured in James Gunn’s upcoming Phase Two film because a few corpsmen stopped by the Marvel booth at San Diego Comic-Con to guard some artifacts from the movie. But in the latest set pictures, we get to see these soldiers in action, along with various alien species that inhabit the worlds beyond our own. These beings of all different shapes and colors gathered to film on London’s Millennium Bridge on the River Thames, which has been seen on the big screen before in ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’. You can check out what’s going on in the gallery below:

Right now, it’s uncertain what the scene will be used for. However, the chances are that the bridge and the people running across it will be inserted into a CGI scene in a galaxy far, far away. But now the question of what are they running from arises. Do you have any guesses as to what could be causing this commotion? Or do you have thoughts about the assorted life forms represented in these shots? Go ahead and share what’s on your mind in the comments.

‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ starring Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Lee Pace, Glenn Close, John C. Reilly, Karen Gillan, Benicio Del Toro, and Michael Rooker blasts off on August 1st, 2014.
