After debuting an hour-long preview last month, the new Marvel cartoon ‘Avengers Assemble’ is preparing for it’s official premiere date this Sunday. Titled ‘Ghost Of A Chance’. We’ve previously seen a clip where the new recruit, Sam Wilson AKA Falcon, goes head to head with the Black Widow, now, the latest clip gives us a better idea of why the teammates were at odds.
The Space Phantoms are up to their old tricks and they’ve somehow found a way to clone or possess Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. While Falcon and Iron Man managed to temporarily subdue Agent Romanoff, they’ve got some bigger, greener problems ahead of them as they face the Incredible Hulk in the latest clip from the new series. After watching the preview, I’m still not completely sold on this being a suitable replacement for ‘Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes’. I’m willing to give it a few more episodes, but if the first one and these clips are any indication, then I don’t see fans being as receptive to this as they are with Marvel’s live action projects.
