ABC is wasting no time in getting the word out about their new series ‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ and now thanks to the fans that are eager to see more of the show, a full trailer for the series has now gone online!
During the first look teaser during the season finale of ‘Once Upon a Time,’ the network urged viewers to use the hashtag #CoulsonLives on Twitter to unlock additional content from the series. Apparently more than enough of you have, as the video has now been revealed and it features a really good look at what viewers can expect.
What’s exciting is that we now get an quick introduction to the human side of the organization which includes Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton) who is the cocky agent that is highly trained in combat and espionage, Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) who is the expert pilot of the S.H.I.E.L.D. plane and a pretty impressive martial artist, Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) who is a brilliant engineer, Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) the genius bio-chemist and to round off the cast is new recruit and computer hacker Skye (Chloe Bennet). Interesting enough, they all seem to have a higher security clearance than the Avengers team since they seem to know that Coulson lived through the “Battle of New York.”
The trailer not only gives a great little background of what the series will be about but also impresses with the magnitude of the special effects that has gone into the pilot episode. Viewers will also get to see more of J. August Richards who may or may not be playing Luke Cage (though io9 thinks he may actually be Rage from the New Warriors).
Check out the trailer below and let us know if you’re as excited as we are to see ‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.!’
Agent Phil Coulson returns to the worldwide law enforcement organization S.H.I.E.L.D. He puts together a small, highly trained, team of Agents to tackle the cases that haven’t been classified yet, the new, the strange and the unknown. The team consists of straight arrow Agent Grant Ward, an expert in combat and espionage; pilot and martial artists Agent Melinda May; and brilliant, socially awkward scientists Agent Leo Fitz and Agent Jemma Simmons. They’ll be joined by civilian new recruit and computer hacker Skye.
