It’s been a while since we’ve reported anything connected to ‘The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones’, the latest young adult novel to make the jump to the big screen. The first trailer came out about four months ago and in between we saw some stills from the movie, but that was about it. But the film made an appearance at this year’s WonderCon, so naturally the studio had something new to display.
Collider tells us that this new trailer was debuted at the film’s panel featuring author Cassandra Clare and principal cast members Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower, and Kevin Zegers. Compared to the first trailer, we get considerably more action this time around. You can check it all out in the trailer below:
Unlike other young adult adaptations like ‘The Host’ and ‘Beautiful Creatures’, this one actually looks interesting enough for me to check out. Although, it’s still a little weird to hear Robert Sheehan, who I know from the first few seasons of the British show ‘Misfits’, speak with a different accent.
