A couple weeks back it was announced that a new trailer for ‘Man of Steel’ would be playing before screenings of ‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.‘ Well, you now don’t need to travel to Middle Earth to watch it as Warner Bros. has released the trailer online and we have it here for you to see!

Much like the first trailer, this one starts with a voice over, but this time it’s young Clark Kent struggling with the world around him as his mom (Diane Lane) helps him find solace. Throughout the trailer, you see this struggle that Clark has dealing with his God-like powers and it reminds you that this will not be your ordinary Superman origin story. While the trailer does start off seriously, towards the end, it reminds us that there is action and provides glimpses of Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Russell Crowe as Jor-El and our first look of Michael Shannon as Zod.

The trailer does what it is supposed to do – tease the movie goer. And this movie goer loves the epic and mythological feel of the whole thing!

Towards the end, Superman (Henry Cavill) says, “My father believed that if the world found out who I really was, they would reject me. He was convinced that the world wasn’t ready. What do you think?”

So, what do you think? Are you ready for a new version of Superman? Watch the trailer and let us know in the comments below.
