The newest trailer for the horror film ‘Sinister’ has arrived and it is as spine-chilling and disturbing as the first!

The movie had a surprise screening at the SXSW earlier in the year and buzz for the film has been steadily increasing. Considering it is a found footage film, the addition of Ethan Hawke seems to add a bit of legitimacy to the movie unlike other found footage films like ‘Apollo 18.’

To increase interest in the film, the studio has released a red band trailer which, surprisingly, contains no dialog! This technique paired with the obligatory creepy music seems to amplify the scariness of ‘Sinister.’ And it works effectively!

Hawke plays a true crime novelist who moves his family into a house whose previous owners were gruesomely murdered. He finds some old home movie film reels and when he begins to watch them, strange and horrible supernatural encounters occur to him and his family.

This trailer will make anyone think twice about watching home movies again!

Check out the newest ‘Sinister’ trailer below. Be forewarned, it’s tagged as a red band trailer not due to gore, but because of the intense tone, partial nudity and the expletive review quotes strewn throughout the video.
