The newest upcoming ‘Star Wars’ game is looking like it could be something very special and the recent trailer release certainly proves this fact. ‘Star Wars 1313’ ditches the usual Jedi fare and brings the player to a grittier, dirtier, darker ‘Star Wars’ universe. The trailer continues to prove that the visuals are still one of the strongest parts of this new game.
There’s some great new gameplay footage in this third trailer and the realistic feel from LucusArts has the trailer looking like a CG animated big screen film rather than a video game. The action looks fast and fluid and you can’t help but think there’s a bit of ‘Uncharted’ elements while watching it.
The new trailer also provides the best look yet of what’s in store for video game playing sci-fi fans and, while there has been no information about when it will be released or what platforms it will play on, many suspect ‘Star Wars 1313’ will be released for next-generation consoles sometime next year.
Check out the newest trailer for the game and let us know what you think of ‘Star Wars’ leaving the vastness of space and taking the action underground!
Synopsis:
Named for Level 1313, a ruthless criminal underground deep below the surface of the planet of Coruscant, the game puts players in control of a deadly bounty hunter as he uses an arsenal of exotic weaponry to hunt down his marks and uncover the truth surrounding a criminal conspiracy. Star Wars 1313 emphasizes epic set pieces and fast-paced combat with a hero who uses human skills and gadgets, rather than supernatural Force powers, to make his way through this dangerous world.
