A new clip and TV spot has been released for ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ and they both focus on Peter Parker’s involvement with the creation of his foe, The Lizard.

The TV spot is actually one from the UK and shows a lot of the fight scenes between our friendly neighborhood web hero and the villain he helped create. I must say, the clip actually has me thinking that ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ has the ability to come very close to matching the opening numbers ‘The Avengers’ had on their first night out.

On a more romantic note, the movie clip below really shows some great tenderness between Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy as he explains why he has to go against The Lizard.

The release of ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ is less than 4 weeks away and I’m getting really excited to seeing how this new origin story for Spidey will play out on screen. How about you?

Until then, check out both the UK TV spot and the movie clip below and then you can see one of the movie posters released courtesy of ComicBookMovie.com underneath the videos. Enjoy!
