‘Entertainment Weekly’ has unveiled the first images of Edward and Bella’s child Renesmee from the upcoming film ‘The Twilight Saga – Breaking Dawn Part 2,’ the final installment in the phenomenon franchise.  The vampire child is played by eleven year-old Mackenzie Foy.  Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella said, “I loved chatting  with Mackenzie.  I’m always curious about what’s  going on in the minds of kids on set. She’s really close to the age I was when I started.”

Robert Pattinson, who portrays Edward said in regard to his older co-stars, “We’re all around the same age and we’re really not polite to each other anymore.  You’d have to tone it down when Mackenzie was around.  She had a little swear jar, and I think she made 850 bucks or something.”

The cast will grace two collectible covers of the pop culture journal, which will contain an exclusive preview of the upcoming film.  The previous ‘Twilight’ film, ‘Breaking Dawn – Part 1’ grossed over $700 million at the box office.

Foy has appeared in numerous TV shows and commercials.  The name “Renesmee” was originated by Twilight author Stephanie Myer and is a hybrid of Renee and Esme.  In 2009, seventeen girls were named Renesmee in America, with the name growing even more popular in 2010, when forty seven sure-to-be-Twihards named their daughters after her. Here’s another EW cover below.

The film opens November 16.  Comingsoon.com also has released this photo:
