The first movie directed by Guillermo del Toro since ‘Hellboy II’ is now in the final stretch as the film has wrapped and is now in post-production. Thanks to Movie Hole, we finally have a first look at the movie and of Idris Elba and may I say, the look of the image is awesome.
Elba has been making his name in the sci-fi genre with supporting roles in ‘Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance,’ ‘Thor,’ and ‘Prometheus’ but this time he gets to be the leading man. In ‘Pacific Rim,’ he plays Stacker Pentecost who is one of the humans who pilots the giant robots that go against the giant monsters that emerge from the sea. Although we don’t know the scene the picture was taken from, it does look like Elba is ready to kick some monster “bootay.”
