Normally I would approach news of remakes from sci-fi movies from my childhood with some trepidation. After all, if the movie was well done, why remake it right? For example, why would anyone want to tinker with ‘E.T.,’ right? In this case, ‘Total Recall’ has to be an exception. Although the 1990 Arnold Schwarzenegger version was entertaining, Len Wiseman has proven that in some cases, remakes can be so much better!
No one would not expect any less from Wiseman than an action packed movie as he’s directed the ‘Underworld’ films starring his wife Kate Beckinsale as well as the film ‘Live Free or Die Hard.’ The trailer for ‘Total Recall’ proves he hasn’t strayed from the track and this first TV spot just reinforces that the movie will be a non-stop adventure ride.
There’s some new footage in this commercial but with only 30 seconds to catch your attention, so don’t blink or you may miss it.
