Earlier this week, viewers of ‘America’s Got Talent’ (or, more likely, comic book fans on the internet) were treated to a super preview of Marc Webb’s take on the origin of Peter Parker, ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’. Today, the director takes us behind the scenes in this featurette that focuses on the “limitless inspirations’ and the “spirit of collaboration” on the set of the film.

Sony produced the featurette for their “Make.Believe” campaign. We get glimpses at stars Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone in some new scenes as they’re being made, spliced with various other clips, all in between Webb talking about things like the atmosphere on set, the technology that they used in the process, and the inspiration that went into this reboot.

To get the full behind the scenes experience courtesy of Comic Book Movie and Sony, watch the full featurette below.

‘The Amazing Spider-Man’, from ‘(500) Days of Summer’ director Marc Webb and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, and Rhys Ifans, opens in theaters on July 3, 2012 in 2D, 3D, IMAX, and IMAX 3D.
