The iconic Morgan Freeman returns to SCIENCE on Wednesday, June 8, at 9:00 PM (ET/PT) for a second season of ‘Through The Wormhole With Morgan Freeman’.

Each of the ten world-premiere episodes poses an all-new question that spans space, science and the unknown – and peaks Freeman’s insatiable curiosity.  The series breaks down the walls of conventional television to explore the puzzles that have captivated mankind since our origin. 

“My love affair with science and the unknown began for me in my high school physics class,” said Freeman.  “My mind sprung open – all because of the questions I asked.  In this new season, we will explore ten new mystifying questions that will change the way you look at the world around you.”

Season two begins with arguably the most provocative question of all: “Is There Life after Death?”. Other topics explored in season two include; “Is There an Edge to the Universe?”, “Can We Live Forever?” and “What Do Aliens Look Like?” Combining stunning visuals with innovative scientific research, season two examines the astonishing theories of world-leading experts at the forefront of mankind’s search for truth.  Each episode also boasts original scores from the incomparable, Academy-Award® Winning composer, Hans Zimmer – himself the son of a scientist.
