Captain Marvel

When ‘Captain Marvel‘ lands on Earth and in your local theater next month, she’ll be going head to head against The Skrulls. The latest teaser shows that you should trust no one. In a world where we saw much of S.H.I.E.L.D. turn into Hydra in the future, not trusting people will be in viewer’s DNA when this movie hits the big screen. While it is doubtful we’ll see any Hydra references in the movie, we do know they would have already infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D. at this point so we could see a couple of familiar faces making cameos.

Clocking in at only 30-seconds there isn’t a whole lot of new footage here, but we do get some new looks at the Skrull menace that has already begun to invade Earth. If only this one didn’t once again include the shot of Brie Larson‘s Carol Danvers once again squaring off against the alien shapeshifter disguised as an older woman. We’ve seen that scene entirely too many times at this point.

While there were quite a bit of repetitive scenes here, I’m thankful we did at least get an expanded look at the aliens who have overtaken Earth! Also, anytime that Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury makes an appearance is a fantastic bonus.

Set in the 1990s, Marvel Studios’ “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously
unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that follows the journey of Carol
Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes. While a galactic war
between two alien races reaches Earth, Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at
the center of the maelstrom.

‘Captain Marvel’ will be flying Higher, Further, Faster onto the big screen on March 8th, 2019!
