'The Lego Movie 2 The Second Part: New Clip Shows Batman Falling In Love

The end of the ‘Lego Movie’ showed Will Arnett’s character Batman watching his girlfriend Wyldstyle ride off into the sunset with Chris Pratt’s Emmet. Don’t worry, the Dark Knight won’t be lonely for long! A new clip from ‘The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part’ shows Batman falling in love!

Batman and Tiffany Haddish’s Queen Watevra Wa’Nabi make a dynamic duo, but it wasn’t smooth sailing at first. Batman seems squeamish watching Queen Waterva Wa’Nabi change forms from a horse to an alien with tentacles. I mean, I can’t say I blame him!

The Queen wins Batman’s heart eventually, and a wedding is planned with the Caped Crusader even donning a white suit. And while Batman seems to be head over heels for the Queen, he may be ignoring some red flags that could become an issue down the road.

The new clip hears Wyldstyle (Elizabeth Banks) saying she feels evil vibes from the Queen, while the previous trailer showed that Emmet needs to rescue his friends from an alien queen. Coincidence?  Or is the Queen using Batman for an evil plot? We will have to wait and see!

‘The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part’ picks up five years after the first film and things have changed. With Finn’s sister now allowed to play with the Lego sets, the Duplos have invaded and threaten the harmony Bricksburg once enjoyed.

‘The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part’ opens in theaters on February 8. Check out the new clip exploring Batman’s love life below!
