Fresh off of costarring in the second (and final) season of Netflix’s ‘Iron Fist’, Alice Eve has been cast in the science fiction anthology film ‘Warning’. The screenplay was penned by Agata Alexander, with Rob Michaelson and Jason Kaye and it will mark music video director, Alexander’s feature film debut. ‘Warning’ will be set on Earth in the future and will follow a number of individuals in a series of short stories that will intersect. Beyond that, not much is known.
Eve portrayed Mary Walker, an artist with multiple personalities (including that of a ruthless mercenary) on ‘Iron Fist’. She also stars in the sci-fi film ‘Replicas’ with Keanu Reeves. She was also seen in another sci-fi anthology, ‘Black Mirror’ in the episode entitled ‘Nosedive’.
Eve joins an all-star cast for ‘Warning’, which also includes Lana Condor, James D’Arcy, Laura Harrier, Charlotte Le Bon, Mena Massoud, Alex Pettyfer and Benedict Samuel.
Lana Condor may be best known for appearing as Jubilee in ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’, and she is starring on Syfy’s ‘Deadly Class’ which kicks off next year. She also has a role in the upcoming ‘Alita: Battle Angel’. Condor recently received raves for her starring role in the Netflix original film ‘To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before’.
James D’Arcy was recently featured in a recurring role on Showtime’s ‘Homeland’. He starred as Edwin Jarvis on Marvel’s ‘Agent Carter’ and as Lee Ashworth on ‘Broadchurch’ Season 2. On the big screen, he has appeared in ‘Cloud Atlas’, ‘Jupiter Ascending’ and ‘Dunkirk’.
Laura Harrier was seen most recently in the Spike Lee film ‘BlaKkKlansman’, but may be best recognized for playing Liz Toomes in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’. Her first major acting job was on the daytime soap opera ‘One Life to Live’.
French Canadian Charlotte Le Bon has been seen in ‘The Hundred-Foot Journey’, ‘The Walk’, and ‘Anthropoid’. She will appear in the upcoming Apple series ‘Calls’.
Mena Massoud will soon be a household name and face, as he headlines Disney’s upcoming live action version of ‘Aladdin’. He can also currently be seen on the Amazon series ‘Jack Ryan’.
Alex Pettyfer starred in the films ‘I Am Number Four’, ‘Magic Mike’ and ‘Lee Daniel’s The Butler’. He was most recently seen in the historical thriller ‘The Last Witness’.
Finally, Benedict Samuel may be best recognized for his portrayal of Jervis Tetch (The Mad Hatter) on ‘Gotham’. Like Le Bon, he also appeared in the film, ‘The Walk’. He may also be remembered for playing Owen, one of the Wolves’ on Seasons 5 and 6 of ‘The Walking Dead’.
‘Warning’ will be produced by Anova Pictures and is currently in pre-production, with an expected 2019 release.
