Terminator 6

Fans have been missing Linda Hamilton since her last appearance in the ‘Terminator’ franchise in ‘T2: Judgment Day.’ But that’s all about to change when Hamilton returns for ‘Terminator 6,’ and fans can catch a glimpse of her in these on-set images that have leaked online.

It has not been confirmed how Hamilton’s character will fit into the overall plot of the film. It has been previously said that ‘Terminator 6’ will ignore everything that happened after ‘Terminator 2,’ and create an entirely new timeline for Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s appearances before handing the franchise off to the new stars.

The film’s creator James Cameron spoke in an interview about the decision to bring Hamilton back, saying:

“As meaningful as she was to gender and action stars everywhere back then, it’s going to make a huge statement to have that seasoned warrior that she’s become return.”

In addition to Hamilton and Schwarzenegger, the film will feature some new faces, including the new Terminator who will be played by ‘Agents of SHIELD’s’ Ghost Rider actor Gabriel Luna. Colombian actress Natalia Reyes will also be joining the cast as Dani Ramos, who will be hunted by the Terminator along with Diego Boneta from ‘Pretty Little Liars’ and ‘Scream Queens’ in a “mysterious-but-crucial” role.

‘Blade Runner 2049’ star Mackenzie Davis will also play a big part in the film, with her role previously described as a soldier-assassin, which matches up with set photos of her that were previously released.
