Well, we all knew that Jigsaw was going to play a part in ‘The Punisher’ Season 2, and we had even already seen a set recording of the man walking around a scene from Season 2. Now, with this latest clip from Digital Spy, it seems as though Jigsaw it most likely one of the major villains, if not THE major villain of the season. This is great, especially if you are a fan of Ben Barnes. OR they are going to use him early in the season since we know he is around and have Frank dispatch him early (similar to how we saw him hunt down and kill the remnants of the gang that killed his family at the very beginning of Season 1) just to remind you of who Frank is, and what he is capable of doing.
Either way, we are definitely getting an action scene between Frank and Jigsaw as the clip shows Jigsaw with a machine gun going after Frank and our anti-hero taking cover behind a car as his one-time friend lays down bullets. The only oddity is that Ben Barnes’s face still does not look to be covered in scars as it should be to properly be Jigsaw, which could mean a couple of different things. Either they plan on doing all of the effects on his face in post-production or this could be some kind of dream sequence inside of Frank’s head where he is attacked by Jigsaw as he remembers his one-time friend, not the grotesque monster he currently is (because of what Frank did to his face).
